ABOUT ME
Have you ever lost track of an afternoon while watching a birdfeeder?

I fell in love with nature in a suburban backyard in southern California. From there, I headed to upstate New York to study animal behavior and communication, followed by a dissertation in Berkeley examining the effects of 100 years of climate and land-use change on California bird distributions. Now, my focus is on science education, seeking the newest and most exciting ways to engage the next generation of scientists daydreaming at windowsills.
